Respect and Non-Discrimination:
All patients have the right to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, disability, or background.

Privacy and Confidentiality:
Patients have the right to have their personal health information kept private and secure, in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable laws.

Clear Communication (Within Limits):
Patients have the right to receive information about their health and care in a way that is reasonably clear and understandable, and to ask questions during their appointment. The Tayo Clinic is committed to communication within the limits of its resources and the scope of its services.

Participation in Care Decisions:
Patients have the right to participate in decisions regarding their healthcare, including the option to accept or decline services offered, within the limits of what the Clinic is equipped to provide.

Access to Services:
All patients have the right to access the Clinic's telehealth services without discrimination. However, care is subject to availability, and not all requests can be accommodated due to the Clinic’s limited capacity and volunteer-based nature.

Concerns and Complaints:
Patients have the right to report complaints or concerns about their care by contacting the Executive Director at admin@tayoclinic.com.

Scope and Limitations of Care:
The Tayo Clinic does not provide emergency medical care or ongoing specialty treatment. Controlled substance prescriptions may be considered in limited circumstances, but are not guaranteed or routinely available.

Service Termination:
The Clinic reserves the right to discontinue services for patients who are abusive, disrespectful, or who violate clinic policies. Services may also be discontinued after multiple missed appointments or if the patient becomes eligible for other healthcare services.

Volunteer-Based Model and Good Faith Care:
The Tayo Clinic is a volunteer-driven organization. Services are provided by licensed professionals acting in good faith. Patients should understand that the Clinic’s resources are limited and that comprehensive or continuous care is not guaranteed.
